Never stayed there, just drove in there enroute to quickly use facilities. It looked lovely, stunning countryside views & a lovely heated inside pool. Looked very clean and had lots of static caravans and lodges etc. Very close to a good beach and from what I saw, I would love to stay for a long weekend break. Great you can take dogs too.
We can't fault our stay at Highlands End. Lovely lodge, spacious, very clean and well kitted out. Martins' bar and restaurant staff all very friendly and the food was amazing! The leisure facilities were very good with friendly and helpful staff too. The site is very clean and well maintained.
After a long drive from North Manchester we where not disappointed. Very clean, well maintained and friendly park. Our 2 girls aged 10 and 12 made lots of friends and had a great time. Great park and swimming area and again well maintained. Super clean dog walk and exercise area. Highly recommended.
Warm friendly helpful staff. Clean site. Lovely restaurant serving delicious food - designated areas for dogs in the restaurant which was brilliant for us. Lovely play areas for the kids. Clean heated pool and lovely changing facilities. Gorgeous sea views - steep walk to the beach but easy enough and well worth doing. Pebbly beach - great for swimming, fishing, kayaking, flying kites and exploring - beach lovely and quiet.Great toilet facilities on site but the cleanliness of them really let this site down - would have achieved 5 stars easily otherwise. ONE clean at midday was not enough during high season. By bedtime showers and toilets were filthy which meant the same filth was there during your morning shower! A designated football field would also of been nice (comment from my 2 son's). Lovely stay though thank you and we will be back.
Lovely pretty site, views are amazing.I feel the tents are an after thought though you really are left to the elements of the wind from the coast. Shower blocks clean and lovely but a quite a walk from the back tent field. We had to leave early due to the wind damaging our tent but one member of staff helped us and others pack up. All staff were polite and friendly.
