We stopped by for lunch and pleased we did. Food was really good and the staff friendly. My food was great but I got food envy when the bubble and squeak came out to a table near to us. Might have to go back on our way through to try it. Thanks
Delicious smoked haddock chowder and baked potato stuffed with tuna mayo, with fresh crisp side salad. Service friendly and efficient. Everything good unless you mind about ceaseless rap-type music in the background - apparently customers like it because it 'breaks up the atmosphere'. Classic FM as an alternative dismissed out of hand. Pity.
A warm welcome, clean, well presented and good service. The food on the whole was good, the cakes excellent, with the exception of the chicken stew. Pieces of chicken breast and carrot in weak watery stock. Worth a visit but don't order the chicken stew!
Absolutely lovely little cafe!We had coffee and fancy brunch, both of which were delicious, and the portion sizes were very generous.We didn't try the cakes, but the ones on display looked amazing and someone was baking more whilst we were there. What really makes Green Yard cafe special is the staff. They were incredibly kind and friendly to everyone there. Really warm and genuine people.
Lovely cafe and very friendly staff ( we were served by a male gentleman). Nice fresh food, with my husband having wheat and gluten free toast. Lovely hot chocolate with grated chocolate on the top! Will definitely visit again as we dont live that far away anyway. Nice atmosphere and clean. Well done a credit to you all!
