We were recommended to eat at the restaurant and we were not disappointed. Lovely location and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend the restaurant if you want a very good meal.
Lovely Xmas lunch. Staff excellent without fawning or hovering. Must remember when placing tables that fat guests moving between tables not as slim as staff. Or go for table at edge of dining room.
This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in this year. Relaxing, great service, good food, great cocktails, friendly staff. You couldn' t ask for more.
Relaxing dining room but desperately average food that's way overpriced. Starter included dry, overcooked scallops with remarkably tasteless cauliflower puree - at 12.50 I expected perfection. Turbot main also overcooked with tasteless fish only palatable with the smoked mussels which provided some flavour over the overly rich cream sauce. Also massively disappointing and 20. The bread on arrival was delicious - but, we discovered, was bought from a little bakery in Bridport. Such a shame - but I'd avoid for dining. Perhaps it's a lovely place to stay?
