Went with friends, very disappointed, food wasn't all that, they didn't have half off the menu, and the choice off 3 desserts. Staff wasn't sure what table had ordered what as came to our table 4 times with the wrong food.
We went in at 6.15pm on NYE but were told it was ticket only after 7pm. Ordered a pint of Palmers and a glass of rose which was well over ten quid. Staff friendly enough and it's dog friendly but very expensive.

Great place to have a pint and a bite when shopping the stalls on Market Day. Convivial staff, good ale, good food, good location.
Small, classy but unpretentious pub in heart of Bridport. A peaceful haven. The food is exceptional and the staff knowledgeable. Bangers and mash (with 3 different sausages) is amongst the best I have ever tasted. The food is locally sourced, making the menu smaller but there is great variety. The offerings I have chosen - from crab sandwiches, via ham, egg & chips, through superb fresh fish, to lemon posset, and gin & tonic cheesecake - have all been excellent in quality, flavor and presentation.
