Love it here. Great site in a fab location. Loads to see and do. Well placed pitches, great dog walk on site and nice cafe for breakfasts and lunches.
Friendly staff . Liked the combined shower WC and sink. Shown to our pitch which had a lovely view over the hills. Did not use the swimming pool or cafe as only there for a few days but surprisingly were open so late in the season.
We have stayed at Wood Farm a number of times and always been very impressed by the whole operation. As a result we have already booked again for next spring. We would recommend Wood Farm to anyone intending to visit the area. The Dorset Apple cake and Coffee walnut cake in The Offshore Cafe on site in absolutely wonderful. The staff could not be more helpful. Altogether a wonderful experience.
Absolutely great have been going there now for circa 5 or so years and have stayed on various pitches. With no complaints toilet and shower blocks are well maintained , plenty to do there's a children's play area, tennis courts, trampolines, swimming pool, games room. They have a really nice cafe/restaurant also certain nights of the week there's a mobile chippy that comes plus mobile curry van they also have 2 fishing lakes. Plenty of dog walks and the bus stops 5 minutes from the campsite. Going back again next year, can't wait.
Was allocated to what only can be described as a gravel mound. I requested to be moved to a nearby pitch but was told no. as that was allocated to a motor home. I asked why can't the motor home go on my pitch. Too steep they said? 4 days past and the motor home finally arrived by which time other pitches were free but no point moving then as holiday nearly over we decided to leave a day early as very disappointed. Also toilets could be cleaner as combined with shower usually full and wet. Would be better separated. Road noise bad but can't do anything about that.I would have left site 4 days ago but other sites in area full.
