Great spot to park for local pub and walks East and West along the coast. Downside is the tight restriction on car park closing time of 4.30! Why so early...who knows but is very inconvenient if doing a coast walk. We decided to park on the road by the car park in case an over zealous gate padlocker tried to be on time! Rather contradicts the whole point of having a car park!

Seatown, a narrow lane away from Chideoc on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset is a favorite stop. Keen eyes and patience may let you find a piece of an ammonite fossil on the pebble Beach and the pub serves food and ale. What else does a body need?
Walked there this time...but a good car park and you get a discount if you use the Anchor Pub which does good food and drink.
