Dan the owner was awesome! great selection of bikes for hire. i would really recommend everyone really went out of their way for me. They even have group rides start at the shop. Loved rolling around the dorset countryside a nice change from Brooklyn. shop has everything you might need and a very knowledgable staff.
I needed my bike fixed with 2 days to go for a triathlon and wasn't sure whether i would be able to compete or not. i got a top quality job completed on my bike the guys there are solid and really know their stuff. Race went without a hitch, would really recommend these guys.
Bike hire. Unfortunately I was disappointed. We wanted a day out cycling in the local area. I explained this when hiring the bikes 2 weeks before. Only to be met with the option of their 7km mountain bike trail yet again. We tried to ask about the local area and explain our cycling ability. Bemused looks. Take a mountain bike out on the road? Were we mad? A customer helped with some thoughts. They covered the first 40 minutes. We returned 7 hours later and met some lovely helpful people on the way. The local area is lovely and great for cycling. So... get some maps that people can return. Have some circuits in mind. Have some advice about where is good to cycle. Above all a mountain bike can be used for a day's cycling.
Went in today, in search of some advice on local trails. Was greeted by Dan offering sweets, then invited to go on a stunning shop affiliated ride, and it was finished off with tea and biscuits. This is the most friendly and approachable bike shop I have ever been into. All the right parts are stock for you instant fixes, good selection of bikes from a broad spectrum and a well kitted out workshop. Highly recommend the outlet to anyone, this is how a bike shop should be run. Keep smiling and riding guys.
